Sense Error: An Experiment on Machine Perception

感官错误：一次关于机器感知的实验

This project is a sensory co-creation experiment with AI. Together, we set three progressive goals—from everyday sensations to contradictory perceptions, and finally to cross-sensory imagination. Through dialogues of keywords, image generation, and iterative revisions, we explored the question of machine perception. The experiment revealed the boundaries of AI’s sensory logic: it can imitate feeling, yet remains confined by social conventions and experiential norms, rejecting irrational combinations and sensory contradictions. The work reflects on a larger question—when algorithms define what is reasonable to feel, how free can human sensory imagination still be?

Backstage Hack: A 6-Month Open Practice Generating "A Fool's Paradise
痴人造梦：一个生成「痴人说梦」的六个月开放实践This project consists of a “parent work” and a “generated work”:
a long-duration open studio performance Backstage Hack, and the interactive installation A Fool’s Paradise that emerged from it.
On this site, artists are creating a voice-light interaction theatre piece called “A fool’s paradise”. As an audience, you could stay outside and observe what’s happening in the space through one-way mirrors and headphones, or go visit the inside and take an action to experience the voice-light interaction in the first created Unit, No.13.
The process is a performance.

	Mobile Botanic Park
In a hundred years, 70 percent of Shanghai's native plants have been classified as rare or seriously rare. Urban species unity(lacking diversity) is increasing at an invisible rate. In order to satisfy urban life and human needs, we use herbicides against unwanted species, blaming the invasive species therefore covering up the vulnerability of habitats created by urban civilization.

This project will attempt to intervene in the ecology of public space by introducing species and nature topics from local ecology into urban public life through mobile buses.Type:#Critical thinking#Experience Design
